It is easy to come online, search for "make money online" and find thousands upon thousands of different opportunities. I have done it myself. I started off with "get paid to programs", things like, get paid to read emails, get paid to click on banners for pennies and other schemes that didn't make money.

Then you might have found, ebay marketing or posting ads on craigslist. This too is difficult if you don't know how to get somebody's attention fast, using only a few lines.

Then you found a self-proclaimed guru who said that if you only pay him $97 you'll have the holy grail, and you could get tons of stuff for free by entering your email address, and that's where it started.

Now you are getting emails almost daily with "the new holy grail" that will make you the first sale. I know, I am on all the lists too, but for other reasons.

What ends up happening is that you have no idea what is the real deal, or what works, so you buy all of them to see if anything fits you. At least that's what I did... Eventually I just STOPPED buying programs!

I started taking action on what I knew... Do some article marketing, Pay-Per-Click and use good keywords in a niche market... Build a solid review page and keep doing something on a daily basis. That's the magic recipe.

As you can see, it's not that advanced, nor does it require much knowledge or skill. Anyone can use these simple strategies and make money with their business.

You need to STOP BUYING programs and schemes to find that 'holy grail' and start to DO what works.

Here's a few tips to get rid of information overload:

* Do not THINK or over analyze - Just start doing something.

* Put it out there, even if it is half-assed, meaning, it does not have to be perfect!

* If you do not know what to do, hire somebody who does, join a coaching group, mentoring group or a forum.

* Don't think it does not require work, only because you have heard it on sales pitches. You DO need to take consistent, affirmative action to be successful.

* Don't think you can go from, little league player to PRO overnight...

* Start with something simple, and don't think you can gain all the knowledge from day one (This is a big one that causes major information overload!)

Now that you know a little bit about how to handle your problem, get started. Take what you know and start making money already!
